The Container Drying System CDS is a drying system specially optimised for pharmaceutical applications and guarantees efficient drying results.
The heating and ventilation module from L.B. Bohle boasts a robust design with an aluminium frame and hygienic stainless steel cladding on the inside in contact with the air.
The compact module is ideally installed above the suspended ceiling. The supply and process air pipes run through the ceiling directly into the drying room and ensure an efficient air flow.
The drawn-in process air (pharmaceutical air) is heated in the module to up to 60 °C and channelled directly into the container via a process air pipe with connecting hose. The adapter cover on the container ensures a precise and controlled air supply - ideal for reproducible and GMP-compliant drying processes.

What is CDS and what is it used for?
The CDS container drying station is a stationary solution for the efficient drying of containers in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries. It ensures dry containers - quickly, hygienically and without high-maintenance filter technology.
How does drying with the CDS drying system work?
The process air (pharmaceutical air) is heated to up to 60 °C in the heating and ventilation module and channelled directly into the container via a connection system. The open container flap allows the air to escape in a controlled manner, resulting in an effective drying process - without any additional filters.
How is the CDS controlled?
It is controlled via a control cabinet in the drying room, which is equipped with a main switch, temperature controller, heating function and pre-selection of the drying time. This enables simple and precise operation.
Can the CDS be combined with other systems?
Yes, the CDS can be ideally combined with the PUR container cleaning system. In this case, operation is integrated directly into the touch panel of the PUR system.
