The Bohle Tablet Coater BTC stands for economical tablet coating. A flat tablet bed, patented air guidance and high spray volumes ensure quality and reduce process times by up to 35 %. The BTC sets standards with the best mixing and thus ensures high uniformity of the film application.
Successful film coating processes are based on three basic operations: Spraying, drying and mixing. Each individual production stage must be carefully planned and optimised in coordination with the others. The BTC Tablet Coater sets standards in terms of quality and efficiency.
In the BTC Tablet Coater, optimum running of the cores is ensured by a flat tablet bed in a long drum geometry. The systematic forced guidance in the drum ensures constant movement of the filling material. No twins are formed. Loss of solids and coating is extremely low. Innovative concepts, both in terms of the process and cleaning, improve the functionality of the Tablet Coater and deliver excellent results.
The air flow achieves significant process-related advantages, as there is no longer any risk of spray drying of the suspension. This reduces spray losses and improves the structure of the coating.
