Lorenz Bohle dies at the age of 85

It is with great sadness that L.B. Bohle Maschinen und Verfahren GmbH bids farewell to its founder Lorenz Bohle.

As a visionary full-blooded entrepreneur, a passionate engineer and a person with clear values and visions, he not only shaped the company, but also the entire pharmaceutical mechanical engineering industry.

His courage to think outside the box, his attention to detail and his tireless commitment to quality and innovation laid the foundations for L.B. Bohle's international success.

He led the company with trust, reliability, honesty and always 100 per cent commitment.

Handover of the management

Lorenz Bohle handed over the management of L.B. Bohle Maschinen und Verfahren GmbH to Tim Remmert and Thorsten Wesselmann in 2017. As Chairman of the Advisory Board, he continued to initiate technological advances and patents as well as providing impetus for the company's development.

Since the beginning of 2021, the company has been operating under the umbrella of the Bohle Foundation, which Lorenz Bohle chaired until his death. The continued existence of the company was particularly important to him. The foundation has secured the company and jobs in the long term.

A visionary, entrepreneur and great personality

In Lorenz Bohle, the company has not only lost its founder, but also a person who was a role model, a companion, an advisor and a reliable personality for many. His work and vision will remain in the people, technology and attitude of our company.

Lorenz Bohle passed away peacefully on 11 May 2025 at the age of 85 at his home in Ennigerloh-Westkirchen.
