At the beginning of May 2023, L.B. Bohle presented the new generation of machines to the public for the first time at Interpack.
L.B. Bohle has been synonymous with cutting-edge technology in the pharmaceutical industry for more than four decades. "The development team has now decided to combine premium technology with a modern design in the future," explains Thorsten Wesselmann, Managing Director Technology at L.B. Bohle Maschinen und Verfahren GmbH. Work on the new machines has been going on for a good two years - also with the support of external design specialists. L.B. Bohle will celebrate the world premiere at Interpack in Düsseldorf in May.
Four world premieres at Interpack
Stainless steel remains synonymous with durable, robust and, if required, sterile technology. Dark elements, expressive lines and more transparency have been added. "The uniform appearance of the new generation of machines creates immediate recognition," emphasises Tim Remmert, Managing Director Sales. In addition to the modern appearance, however, the focus was primarily on the inner values: easy handling, quick cleaning, safe processes, transparent processes and economical use of resources - and all of this, of course, with state-of-the-art technology.
True to the Bauhaus motto "Form follows function", leading technology will continue to epitomise the L.B. Bohle DNA in the future. "We have succeeded in packaging top technical performance and features in a modern guise," says Thorsten Wesselmann.
To kick off the redesign, L.B. Bohle has set its sights on three outstanding machines:
- the Dry Granulator BRC: The machine has been on the market since 2012 and has been a bestseller since its launch.
- the BFC 400 tablet coater: The fastest and most precise tablet coater is a bestseller that is appreciated worldwide for its outstanding production results and efficiency.
- the QbCon®1 Continuous Granulator and Dryer: Since 2018, the Research & Development specialist has been the first to offer a truly continuous solution for the difficult process of Wet Granulation and Drying.
"We made a conscious decision to take on the complex challenges of these three systems during the redesign," explains Managing Director Tim Remmert. These references are impressive proof of the company's technological leadership.
